THE STILL ME SESSIONS
"I don't know how to be sick and still be me."
3x 1:1 sessions with an MS counsellor who has been living with it since she was 19.
and WhatsApp text support between sessions.
MS support largely focuses on managing your physical symptoms. But the emotional impact -your grief - that's where the support is almost entirely absent.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Your neurologist manages the disease. Your GP manages the symptoms. You might have a physio for the fatigue.
But nobody is managing what happened to your sense of self when you were diagnosed with MS - the version of yourself you'd been building that was quietly dismantled. The life you'd planned, now unrecognisable.
INTRODUCTORY PRICE 10 SPOTS ONLY AVAILABLE WORLDWIDEThese are real things real women with MS have said. If any of them sound like you, this is for you:
"I just feel like I'm grieving but nobody's died."
"I'm so tired - not just physically, like soul tired."
"I feel like MS has taken over my whole identity."
"I'm scared all the time and I don't know how to turn it off."
"I've read everything and I still feel lost."
In their own words:
You're not struggling because you're not coping. You're struggling because you've been carrying grief with no structure for it.
Three sessions.
Here's what we do:
The Still Me Framework:
This isn't general counselling with an MS module added on. It's specifically for identity grief - the loss of who you were, who you thought you'd be, and what MS has quietly taken that nobody can see on a scan.
-
The thing you haven't been able to say to anyone. To someone who already knows what MS is, what it takes, what it does to your sense of self. No explaining from the beginning. No managing their reaction. Just say it. You leave this session lighter.
-
Not "MS" in general - the specific thing. The identity, the activity, the version of yourself you'd been building. Most people have never been asked this question precisely. We find it and we go into it properly. The anger is welcome here too.
-
Not who you were. Not who you thought you'd be by now. Who you actually are - in this life, with this body. The adapted version of a genuinely good life is already starting to exist. You leave Session 3 with something concrete, not a pep talk.

WHAT CHANGES
The before and after
Before
- You measure every day against who you used to be
- You're managing everyone else's feelings about your diagnosis
- You're holding something that has nowhere to go
- The fear is running quietly in the background of everything
- You're waiting to feel like yourself again before you start living
After
✓ The fear is still there - but it's not running every quiet moment
✓ You know who you are inside this life, not despite it
✓ The grief has somewhere to go
✓ You stop waiting and start actually living in the life you have
✓ You have something concrete for what comes next
ABOUT ME
I’m Emily.
Diagnosed at 19. Late 30s now. I've spent nearly 20 years building a life that looks nothing like the one I planned - and that I genuinely love.
I'm also a counsellor with a Bachelor of Public Health. I've had over 1,700 conversations with women living with MS. I know what "I don't know how to be sick and still be me" feels like - not from a textbook, from the inside.
I also know what it's like to sit in front of a counsellor and spend 45 minutes explaining what relapsing-remitting means. That's not what happens here.
“I saw a psychologist but I needed MS-literate support for what she couldn’t be authentically empathetic with.”
The Still Me Sessions exist because neurologists treat the disease. Nobody treats the grief. I'm standing in that gap.
The inner thoughts you're probably sitting with.
HONEST ANSWERS
-
Good. This isn't for crisis - it's for the quiet, specific suffering that doesn't look dramatic from the outside but is costing you more than anyone around you knows. You don't need to be at rock bottom to deserve somewhere to put it down.
-
Most counsellors don't understand MS. You spend the whole session explaining what relapsing-remitting means, and you leave more depleted than when you arrived. That's not what happens here - I already know. We start where it actually hurts.
-
You've been handling it on your own. That's exactly why you're reading this. There's no timeline for adjusting to a life that looks nothing like the one you planned.
-
Three sessions is enough to say the unsayable thing, go into something real, and leave with something concrete. It's not your whole story - it's a proper start. I'll tell you honestly at Session 3 what I think comes next.
-
I'm not going to tell you I can fix it. What I can tell you is that carrying this with somewhere to put it - with someone who already knows what it is - is genuinely different from carrying it alone. That's not nothing.
